Rabies Vaccine for Pregnant Women

AIM Honor (Ningbo) Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer with strong R&D capabilities. We specialize in developing Rabies Vaccine for Pregnant Women. Utilizing low-impurity residue processes and innovative serum-free technology, our product contains no preservatives or bovine serum throughout the manufacturing process and has been clinically proven to have no teratogenic risks.

AIM Honor is a manufacturer and supplier of Rabies Vaccine for Pregnant Women. We offer two formulations: a standard Vero cell version and a serum-free Vero cell version. Both formulations achieve a 100% antibody seroconversion rate within 14 days and are administered via intramuscular injection. We provide a safe and effective rabies prevention solution for pregnant women exposed to dog bites, filling a crucial gap in immunization during this special physiological stage!

Product Features

Pregnant women are a special population requiring post-exposure prophylaxis for rabies, and the safety of conventional vaccines is a core concern. Aimai Vaccine's rabies vaccine for pregnant women has been optimized in its manufacturing process to address the physiological characteristics of pregnancy:

The conventional Vero cell-based vaccine strictly controls bovine serum albumin residue to ≤10 ng/dose and Vero cell protein residue to ≤4 μg/dose, far below industry standards;

The serum-free version completely eliminates the risk of allergies and contamination caused by bovine serum residue through a completely serum-free culture process. Both products have undergone specific safety assessments for pregnant women, and no adverse effects on the mother or fetus have been found.

This vaccine is suitable for various Class II/III rabies exposures during pregnancy. The preferred injection site is the deltoid muscle of the upper arm (avoiding abdominal injection). The immunization schedule is 5 intramuscular injections on days 0, 3, 7, 14, and 28.

Clinical data shows that the antibody seroconversion rate reaches 100% after 14 days, and the neutralizing antibody level can be maintained until 3 months postpartum, providing both immune protection for the mother and passive immunity for the newborn through maternal antibodies.

Core Advantages

Pregnancy-specific safety design: The conventional version strictly controls impurity residues, and the serum-free version avoids bovine-derived raw material risks; both products have passed pregnancy-specific clinical verification, with adverse reactions only mild local pain (Grade 1 accounting for <20%) and no severe systemic reactions.

High-efficiency immunity + maternal-fetal dual protection: 100% antibody seroconversion rate in 14 days, and antibody levels can last until postpartum, protecting both the mother and providing passive immunity to the fetus through placental antibody transfer.

Strong compliance: Complies with national pregnancy medication specifications, is one of the few rabies vaccines approved for pregnancy in China, and has been included in the emergency immunization catalog of many obstetrics and gynecology hospitals.

Application Scenarios

Obstetrics and gynecology specialist hospitals: Provide emergency vaccination for pregnant women exposed to dog bites, cat bites, etc., with full monitoring by obstetricians.

Maternal and child health care institutions: Carry out popular science on rabies exposure prevention during pregnancy and reserve vaccines for emergency disposal.

High-risk area prenatal check-up centers: Provide pre-exposure prevention consultation and vaccination services for pregnant women in rabies-endemic areas.
