Product Composition
The yeast-derived Hepatitis B Vaccine is made by purifying the Hepatitis B virus surface antigen (HBsAg) expressed by recombinant Hansenula polymorpha yeast, and then adding aluminum hydroxide adjuvant. The product is an off-white suspension that may separate into layers upon standing but is easily dispersed after shaking.
Active ingredient: Hepatitis B virus surface antigen.
Excipients: Aluminum hydroxide, sodium chloride.
Which Groups of People Need to Be Vaccinated Against Hepatitis B?
Individuals susceptible to hepatitis B need to be vaccinated, especially newborns. Children whose mothers are HBsAg and HBeAg positive have a higher priority for vaccination. In addition, healthcare workers and laboratory personnel who handle blood also need to be vaccinated.
It is important to note that the Yeast-derived Hepatitis B Vaccine is not suitable for everyone. We do not recommend vaccination for the following groups:
(1) Individuals with known allergies to any component of the vaccine (including excipients, formaldehyde, and yeast).
(2) Patients with acute illnesses, severe chronic diseases, acute exacerbations of chronic diseases, and fever.
(3) Pregnant women.
(4) Patients with uncontrolled epilepsy and other progressive neurological diseases.

Product Feature And Application
Yeast-derived Hepatitis B Vaccine: Each vial contains 0.5 ml, with a dose of 0.5 ml per person, containing 10 μg or 20 μg of HBsAg.
It is administered via intramuscular injection into the deltoid muscle of the upper arm.
The immunization schedule consists of three doses, administered at 0, 1, and 6 months. Newborns should receive the first dose within 24 hours of birth, with one dose administered at each vaccination.
The RECVAX® series of products has been on the market for 20 years, covering most provinces and cities in China, with a cumulative usage of nearly 500 million doses, demonstrating good booster immunization effects.
