Chronic hepatitis B virus infection is one of the important causes of liver cancer, with approximately 85% of liver cancer patients carrying HBV. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), in 2019, approximately 296 million people worldwide had chronic HBV infection, and approximately 820,000 people died from liver failure, cirrhosis, or primary liver cancer caused by HBV infection.

How to Get the Hepatitis B Vaccine?

The Hepatitis B Prevention Vaccine is suitable for most people, especially those susceptible to hepatitis B. Newborns should receive the first dose within 24 hours of birth, particularly those whose mothers are HBsAg and HBeAg positive.
